28th January 2013
Windsurfing: El Medano Tenerife
Wind Direction: ENE
Wind Stength: F5/6
Surf / Sea State: big
Air Temperature: 20C
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: sunny hot
Max Speed: 25kts (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: not too lo

Jesus C the wind is relentless and getting knackered just looking at it. Loads out and the Point 7 team blasting at ridiculous speeds on the slalom course with kites and wave heads every where kicking off some neat tricks.
Ian Paul and Maker went small boards again, but shocked Paul and Maker holding same size as me and Lord Swain with 5.7 !
Maker was now sick with a bad cold and struggled, cos his pussy finger (never seen a decent days work) had a huge septic blister - not good.
Mark Sw had a 26kt run to kick and I had 25kts so close. Gave Paul my GPS and he hit 27.20kts to kick our arses.
Had loads of burn ups with Paul, as he had his Go pro head cam, and me Swainey was desperate to show him our lard arses. I kept close to his cam line, then Mark bombed us in the horendous sea, right thru the middle nearly clipping Paul! Would have been a great sequence except the Go Pro file was either corrupted or didn't work...bastardddddd!
Ians / Paul V planing relentless even in lulls whilst me and Lord swain was spending a lot of time on the beach.
To be honest my fitness is now being exposed, as I had some long sails the earlier days and I was getting knackered. The wind dropped on me way out with 5.7 and 115L and huge waves. I thought I might be the first on the walk of shame from the point rocks and the cost of damaged gear. lucky picked up a gust to crawl in, while the others on the beach took the piss!!
Maker was now fcuked with cold, blisters and all were tired. Flashpoint beer and grub soon sorted us though, so after each day, we were OK.
Tried the trainer kites near 4pm Maker flew ith Lord Swain and Paul, whilst I launch my 3.5 Bullet staright downwind, not realising there was so much wind for kites, and shag one of my lines - broke 3 times so gave up.
The others are going to use Ians kite Wed or Thur, as forecast is 12-15kts without a lesson from the rip off centre. I am going to watch, cos watching the learner kiters ripping their guts out on drags, am not too keen on kiting now...
But then to be fair, the centre want ridiculous money, and so many girls are doing it...we aint pussies so maybe?
Watch BBC world news for what happened next....
Again got ripped for damage I didn't do to a rent board by the Surf centre - was told - I should have checked first. Yeh right, am blind as a bat without glasses for close up - yeh I have "idiot take me on my forehead" here is 40 euros, hope you all choke on it....
Cheerd up at Flashpoint with free wifi, Spaghetti Pesto something and another delicious Haiwan sandsich with cold beer... hey UK suckers I hear its mild but raining? stop moaning.....
